Affiliate disclosure: Nico participates in Carrd’s referral program. Links marked as affiliate links may earn us a referral credit at no extra cost to you. The program’s current documentation describes 30% of the amount paid toward a referred user’s next eligible Pro upgrade or renewal; the referral code is single-use per user, not recurring.
Quick decision: choose Pro Lite only when a Carrd-hosted premium URL is enough and you do not need a custom domain, forms, widgets, or embeds. Choose Pro Standard when your business page needs a custom domain, signup or contact forms, embeds, or analytics. Choose Pro Plus only when you can name a Plus-only requirement such as advanced forms, site downloads, redirects, password protection, or custom site files.
This guide compares current official plan listings. We have not benchmarked Carrd’s performance, conversion rate, support, or uptime, and we do not claim hands-on testing.
Carrd’s three base Pro plans
As checked on September 18, Carrd lists Pro Lite at $9 per year for 3 sites, Pro Standard at $19 per year for 10 sites, and Pro Plus at $49 per year for 25 sites. Carrd also lists higher-capacity variants, so compare the same site count before treating one headline price as the total cost.
- Pro Lite — $9/year, 3 sites: removes Carrd branding and adds premium URLs, templates, larger media, site icons, share images, transfers, and sharing. It does not list custom domains, forms, widgets, embeds, or analytics.
- Pro Standard — $19/year, 10 sites: adds custom domains, forms, widgets, embeds, analytics, meta tags, and local fonts. For a typical lead-capture page on your own domain, this is the first plan whose listed capabilities match the job.
- Pro Plus — $49/year, 25 sites: adds advanced forms, advanced settings, site downloads, redirects, password protection, variables, site files, and canonical URL controls.

When Pro Lite is enough
Lite fits a simple public page when you are comfortable using a Carrd premium URL instead of your own domain and do not need a form or embedded service. Examples include a temporary profile, link page, event summary, or visual proof-of-concept.
Do not choose Lite merely because it is cheapest if your launch requirement says “use my domain” or “collect email addresses on the page.” Upgrading immediately after discovering that gap costs time as well as money.
When Pro Standard is the practical business starting point
Standard is the first listed tier with custom domains and forms. Carrd’s documentation says its forms can connect with services including Kit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, EmailOctopus, and others. Widgets and embeds also support a wider workflow, but every external service can add its own subscription, limits, and privacy obligations.
Before buying, write the full route: visitor opens the page, submits a form, reaches the correct list, receives the promised message, and can unsubscribe. A page plan is only one part of that route.

When Pro Plus earns the extra cost
Plus is not automatically the “best” plan. Its value depends on a requirement that Standard cannot satisfy. Carrd lists custom forms that can send data to URLs and connect with services such as Zapier, Make, n8n, and Airtable. It also lists site downloads, redirects, password protection, variables, site files, and advanced settings.
Choose Plus only after writing the exact dependency. For example: “The form must send a structured payload to this endpoint,” or “We need to download the site’s client-side source for an approved migration path.” Server-side functionality is excluded from site downloads according to Carrd’s documentation.
A five-minute plan test
- Write the domain you will publish on. If it is your own domain, remove Lite from the shortlist.
- Write the one action a visitor should take. If it uses a form, widget, or embed, compare Standard first.
- Name any Plus-only requirement. If you cannot name one, do not pay for Plus yet.
- Count the sites you will actually publish in the next twelve months. Compare matching capacity variants.
- Add the domain, email service, payment tool, and connector costs. The Carrd subscription is not the total workflow cost.
Use the trial to test the whole path
Carrd’s official Pro page currently advertises a seven-day trial of top Pro features without a payment card. Treat that as a verification window, not a deadline to build everything. Publish one small page, test it on mobile, submit one consenting test contact, and confirm the next system receives the data.
Keep your copy and original assets outside the builder. Record what must be exported or rebuilt if you later change tools.
Choose the smallest plan that completes the workflow
